According to my stats page, someone found my blog by searching for “how to find a good catholic husband.”
That’s awesome, because I actually have the answer to that one, as given to me (unsolicited) by a priest when I was 23 and unmarried: Pray to Saint Joseph for a good husband. It’s as simple as that, folks.
That’s funny!
Would that work in reverse if I was looking for a good, Catholic wife?
Try Saint Monica.
That’s okay. Someone found my blog the other day looking for free tampons.
Some of us might be directed to St. Jude. Isn’t he the patron saint of lost causes?
Marvellous! I love simple answered to complicated questions.
On the subject of search criteria, someone found my site with the search ‘female erogenous zones’ recently. I’m still beleaguered by that one!
Stu
St Joseph is a busy guy–isn’t he the one who sells houses, too?
Fallen and forgotten Catholic that I am, I have no idea about any of the saints. I do know St. Christopher and he travels with me wherever I go but someone told me he had been “de-sainted” by the Catholic church. Do I care? Nah. Not me.
What saint do I pray to for “Make my life not effed up”? Because I’ll pray, dammit.
St. Francis is a good, all-purpose saint. (Xavier Cabrini, not Assissi.)
St. Jude, patron saint of lost causes? Naaaaah…. Just go for the top. Mary’s good enough for Annie, she should be good enough for you.
