I’m blogging from the great outdoors, although you won’t see this until I get back. I’m even writing in a notebook. The paper kind. The campground actually has wi-fi, but I was good and didn’t bring my laptop.
We found a terrific campground for families. If you’re ever in the Columbia River Gorge, I highly recommend it. It’s called Timberlake Campground and RV Park, and it’s just three miles north of Home Valley, Washington off of Berge Road. It’s just right for us: a shady, secluded tent site, a playground for the kids, and a beautiful, natural setting.
Truthfully, I’m not getting much blogging done here, so I’m going to relax with a People magazine and respond to the kids as necessary. See ya!
I hope you had fun Kathleen. My family loves camping. I, however, prefer a warm bed in a hotel room. I camped plenty in my younger years, so I feel like I payed my dues.
